Algorithm rollover takes too long to introduce
Algorithm rollover takes too long (but luckily not too short) because when introducing new zone signatures the time to wait before the signatures are omnipresent includes the sign delay. This is the delay that ensures all zone signatures have been refreshed. Thus publishing the DS record is delayed. Since there is no predecessor key with the same algorithm, all signatures need to be resigned anyway and adding the sign delay is unnecessary.
