BIND version number not being auto-generated in Read the Docs

In /doc/arm/introduction.rst, line 33 reads:

This manual covers BIND version |release|.

but that is not working (and has never worked) to auto-generate the actual release number in Read the Docs (see attached image). Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it.
