The docs here https://kea.readthedocs.io/en/latest/arm/dhcp4-srv.html#kea-dhcp4-name-generation-for-ddns-update-requests say:

"The suffix used when generating an FQDN, or when qualifying a partial name, is specified by the ddns-qualifying-suffix parameter. It is strongly recommended that the user supply a value for the qualifying prefix when DDNS updates are enabled."

This should say "value for the qualifying suffix when DDNS updates are enabled suffix", not prefix.
