Remove DNS GENERATE directive

The following discussion from !2236 (merged) should be addressed:

    IMHO you can get rid of the GENERATE directive so I suggest to remove this case and associated code and tests.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
