Redhat install of stork-agent fails to add stork-agent user to kea group
My understanding is that the package scripts are attempting to add the kea-agent
user to the _kea
group if Kea is installed on a RPM based distros. However, the group is called kea
on RPM based distros. The _kea
group appears on Debian based systems. See conversation here: https://mattermost.isc.org/isc/pl/da4nisqixtra5cr7djhidxy7my for further information.
Debian after install of Kea and stork-agent:
$ sudo groups stork-agent
stork-agent : stork-agent _kea
RPM based distro (Specifically Rocky Linux 8):
$ sudo groups stork-agent
stork-agent : stork-agent
$ sudo getent group _kea
$
$ sudo getent group kea
kea:x:987:
The package scripts should, instead, attempt to add the stork-agent
user to the kea
group on RPM based distros.
