We don't need the *.wild.example.org node marked. We need
wild.example.org.

Just simple wildcard, no synthesis of the correct name.

for the next step of wildcard work, extended the notion of callback to
generic "node flags".  callback specific interfaces were replaced with
flag manipulation methods.

so that the main method will have a readable size.  no behavior change.

make sure a separate RBTree level exists for the wildcard and its
"wildcarding (parent)" names.
reject loading unsupported RR types with wildcard.

the subsequent tests will be invalidated once we merge #507, but
for the purpose of this ticket it should work.

 - consolidated the test RR definition in a sequence of RRs
 - eliminated variables for RR names

test semantics should be intact.

bash isn't available on all platforms by default.  we should be conservative.

Removed some dead code, added two unit tests, changed sendQuery() to the
more descriptive resolve(), and removed a superfluous call to dlog()

Added an explicit test for logging up a non-existent or invalid
symbol in the dictionary.  Also added a test to ensure that multiple
MessageInitializer objects will all contribute their messages to
the global dictionary.
