[ppc64el architecture only] Regresses when built against gcc-10 on ppc64el

Hello,

With !60 (merged) being merged, we (on Ubuntu) are getting a regression against network-manager on ppc64el architecture.
See logs here.

As soon as I revert this patch and build with gcc-9, everything works fine again. But please note that this only happens on ppc64el architecture. Builds and tests on other architecture works fine, without any problems, really.

Is it known? If it isn't, can you perhaps take a look at this?
CC: @tmark^

Should you need any other information or anything, please let me know. I'll be also happy to test the patches (if you suggest any) on a ppc64el VM to fix this issue.

Thanks for your awesome work on this so far! 😄
