ungraceful termination under heavy traffic
While sanity checking 2.4.0 tarballs, kea-dhcp4 and kea-dhcp6 terminate ungracefully within seconds after sending heavy traffic.
v4
- with this config: kea-dhcp4-maximal.conf
- with this perfdhcp command:
perfdhcp -4 -l vethclient -R 1000000 -r 1000 -t 1
- with this backtrace: a.log
v6
- with this config: kea-dhcp6-maximal.conf
- with this perfdhcp command:
perfdhcp -6 -l vethclient -R 1000000 -r 1000 -t 1
- with this backtrace: c.log
On one occassion I saw: malloc(): unaligned tcache chunk detected
in v6's case.
Other engineers were not able to reproduce the crashes.
