ARM documentation for Version reporting feature

This is a follow-up to the thread !835 (comment 501698).

As suggested by @marcin, #222 (closed) feature requires proper documentation in the ARM. Since there was not enough time to write it as part of #222 (closed), this ticket was created to address it.
